Shelly Murphy, MA, NCC, LPC Candidate, is a trauma-informed therapist who supports highly sensitive children, teens, and parents. She believes sensitivity is a strength when met with understanding and attunement. Her work is relational and attachment-focused, helping families better understand their nervous systems, navigate big emotions, and cultivate deeper connection.
With a background in early childhood education and a degree in Human Development and Family Studies, Shelly brings both professional training and lived parenting experience to her practice. She offers a steady, compassionate presence and integrates person-centered and evidence-based approaches to create a space where children and parents feel seen, supported, and empowered.
Shelly earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University and holds national certification as a counselor (NCC). She is currently working toward full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
