The Therapy Process FAQs
Versus therapy models that keep kiddos and adult in therapy for long periods of time, Rooted Rhythm is committed to offering a highly attuned and transformational container, that can support you intensively over a shorter period of time.
Clients are always invited to maintain the relationship with their therapist after the initial process - and some do choose to engage in ongoing services and/or are supported in finding outside additional services following our process. The goal, however, is that you are engaged with a high level of commitment and offered an incredibly supportive experience for the initially agreed upon course of treatment.
Please explore the following drop down menu for process details for each service:
-
60 minute parent intake
12 x 50 minute weekly child therapy sessions (including 10 min of parent coaching)
50 minute closing parent session
Suggested parenting course - TUNED IN
If you choose to engage in the parent learning process by enrolling in the TUNED IN course, while your child is being seen for therapy, here are our recommendations. Schedule between 60 minutes and 2 hours to thoroughly complete each module (which will include grounding meditation, lecture, closing meditation, self inquiry and assignments)
Module 1: prior to parent intake session
Module 2: week 1 child therapy
Module 3: week 2 child therapy
Module 4: week 3 child therapy
Module 5: week 4 child therapy
Module 6: week 5 child therapy
Module 7: week 6 child therapy
Module 8: week 7 child therapy
Module 9 week 8 child therapy
