Our story
Growing together, as a team.
Rooted Rhythm began with one therapist and a belief that children heal best alongside the people who love them. Today we're a team of 55 across Colorado, Texas, Georgia and New Jersey.
How we grew
One relationship at a time.
A solo start
Sophie rented a therapy office just two days a week and brought her own play therapy toys.
Training interns in Denver
Sophie began training interns to work therapeutically with children.
Interns asked to stay
Some of them began asking to work with her full time.
55 people, 4 states
The group practice grew organically, across Colorado, Texas, Georgia and New Jersey.
Our approach
A different way of thinking about therapy.
We believe therapy should never happen in isolation from the relationships that shape our lives. Our approach centers on helping children feel deeply understood while giving parents practical tools to support meaningful change at home.
This philosophy shapes our 12-week approach to child therapy, which integrates child-centered play therapy with ongoing parent support. The goal isn't simply to address behaviors. It's to understand what those behaviors are communicating and strengthen the relationships that help children thrive.
Supporting clinicians
Caring for the people who care for families.
We believe exceptional care begins with supported, connected clinicians. As we've grown, we've stayed committed to a practice where therapists have access to mentorship, clinical consultation, continued learning, and a community of colleagues who share a commitment to meaningful therapeutic relationships.
Our goal is a place where both families and therapists feel genuinely supported.
Two journeys
Two journeys, side by side.
Your child's journey
Weekly sessions with their therapist, where play and connection help them understand big feelings.
Your journey
While your child works with their therapist, you go through the Tuned In process too, with parenting courses, tools for home and Remi. That's what makes the work last.
