Kylie Bakersky, MS, LPCC | Therapist (Arvada, CO)

Kylie is a warm, compassionate, and genuine therapist who believes meaningful change begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and understood. She views therapy as a collaborative relationship where clients can show up as their authentic selves, explore their experiences, and feel supported as they grow. Kylie strives to create a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where clients and families can build trust, develop a deeper understanding of themselves, and feel empowered to create meaningful change.

Kylie earned her MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She feels especially passionate about supporting children and adolescents as they navigate the challenges, transitions, and experiences of growing up.

Kylie has a particular passion for working with children and believes they deserve to feel understood, respected, and empowered in the therapeutic process. She has training in Child-Centered Play Therapy and incorporates play, creativity, and developmentally appropriate approaches to help children express emotions, process experiences, build confidence, and work through challenges. She also values collaboration with parents and caregivers, providing tools and insight that can support the family beyond the therapy room.

Kylie also enjoys working with adolescents, creating genuine, trusting relationships where they can feel comfortable being themselves and exploring the experiences that shape who they are. She supports teens navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity, relationships, and other challenges that arise during this stage of life.

Kylie’s approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and person-centered, allowing her to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs, strengths, personality, and goals. Whether working through play with a child, supporting an adolescent through a difficult season, or helping a family better understand one another, Kylie brings warmth, curiosity, humor, and compassion to the therapeutic relationship. Above all, she wants her clients and families to know they do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone and hopes to help each person feel safe to be authentic, empowered to grow, and confident in their ability to create meaningful change.
