Audrey Norton, MA, LPC | Therapist (Denver, CO)

Audrey believes that meaningful therapy begins with feeling safe, seen, and genuinely understood. She is deeply committed to building relationships rooted in trust, authenticity, and respect, and she brings a warm, steady presence to her work with children, teens, and their families. Audrey values each child’s individuality and honors their pace, creating space for curiosity, connection, and growth to unfold naturally.

Audrey is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in working with neurodivergent and highly sensitive children (ages 2–12), teens (13–20), and their caregivers. She supports young people navigating challenges such as anxiety, emotional overwhelm, social differences, and difficulties with regulation, while also partnering closely with parents to better understand and support their child’s unique needs. Audrey is especially passionate about helping children feel accepted for who they are, rather than needing to “fit” a particular mold.

Her approach is collaborative, creative, and developmentally attuned. Audrey incorporates play-based and experiential interventions to support expression, regulation, and skill-building in ways that feel natural and engaging. Sessions may include play, storytelling, movement, or creative activities to help children and teens process emotions, build confidence, and strengthen relationships. She integrates trauma-informed care with modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), while keeping therapy flexible, relational, and responsive to each client.

Audrey earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee and her Master’s degree in Global Mental Health and Trauma Psychology from the University of Denver. Her work is guided by a deep respect for each client’s lived experience, and she is passionate about helping young people and their families feel more connected, supported, and empowered in their everyday lives.
