Jessika Allison, MA, LPCC | Therapist (Denver, CO & Colorado Springs, CO)
Jessika is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where children, teens, and young adults feel heard, understood, and empowered. While she enjoys working with individuals across different stages of life, her clinical focus and passion are largely centered around working with children, adolescents, and young adults.
Jessika primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) approaches, incorporating practical skills and strategies to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. She recognizes that every individual is different and tailors her approach to meet each client where they are. She believes that progress does not always happen in a straight line and values patience, curiosity, compassion, and connection throughout the therapeutic process.
Jessika received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa and graduated with her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She approaches therapy as a collaborative process, working alongside clients to better understand their experiences, identify their strengths, and develop skills that feel meaningful and applicable to their everyday lives. She strives to create a space where clients can be themselves, explore difficult emotions without judgment, and feel supported throughout their journey.
Originally from Iowa, Jessika now calls Colorado home. Outside of counseling, she has a strong passion for dance and enjoys teaching dance classes. She loves the creativity, connection, and confidence that dance can bring to people of all ages. She also enjoys spending time with friends, exploring local coffee shops, and getting outdoors.
