Jerica Dykes, MSW, LMSW, IMH-E®, PMH-C | Therapist (Austin, TX)
Jerica’s approach is grounded in trauma-informed, person-centered, and culturally responsive care. She creates a welcoming, safe, and supportive space where children, parents, and families can do more than just get through hard moments; they learn the skills to truly thrive.
Jerica has supported families across the lifespan in education, nonprofit, healthcare, and hospice settings. Along with anxiety and depression, she helps families work through grief and bereavement, life transitions, relationship challenges, and challenging behaviors. Some families connect with her warm, charismatic presence, while others appreciate her creative, outside-the-box approach as the right fit for their own or their child’s needs.
Jerica earned her Master of Social Work from The University of Texas at San Antonio after completing a minor in social work at The University of Texas at Austin. She holds an Infant Mental Health endorsement and spent her early career supporting the mental health of families with children under five and children with disabilities, and she remains active in community initiatives for these families. Jerica is also certified in Perinatal Mental Health and supports parents through pregnancy, the postpartum period, and beyond.
Outside of work, Jerica is a mom of two little humans and a cat, and she serves her community as a birth and postpartum doula.
