Christopher Cypher, MA, MFTC | Therapist (Arvada, CO & Colorado Springs, CO)

Hello, my name is Chris. I understand that starting therapy or starting with a new therapist can bring up a mixture of feelings. There can be some nervousness, anxiety, and fear, but maybe there is hope for change too. I help school-aged children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigate stressors and complexities in life. I integrate Narrative Therapy, the Gottman Method, Integrative Behavioral Couple’s Therapy (IBCT), and an attachment-based lens when working with clients. I focus on the messages, stories, and expectations to help you rewrite them so that they better reflect your experience and what is meaningful to you.

Being authentic and meeting clients where they are with no judgement is important to me. My goal is to strengthen, cultivate, and nurture the relationships in your life. This can include improving your own self-esteem and the relationship you have with yourself as well. When working with me, we will collaboratively create change that works for you and your unique strengths.

I hold a Master of Arts in Couple and Family Therapy from the University of Colorado Denver.

I have a strong interest and ties to Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. I aim to bring a multicultural and person-centered lens to my work.
