Caylin Erb, MSW, LSW | Therapist (Lakewood, CO)
Are you feeling stuck, disconnected, or like no matter how hard you try, you keep ending up in the same place? Maybe you're navigating a transition, carrying grief, struggling with self-doubt, or seeking more clarity, connection, and peace in your life. You don't have to figure it out alone.
Caylin Erb is a Licensed Social Worker and MSW graduate of the University of Denver. She works with kids, teens, young adults, and adults navigating life transitions, identity, self-esteem, addiction and recovery, grief, and relationship challenges, as well as the uncertainty of figuring out who you are and where you're going. Together, she and her clients uncover what's keeping them stuck, move through it rather than around it, and build toward a life that feels more intentional and connected. For younger clients, she brings play, creativity, and a gentle presence to help kids feel safe, seen, and understood.
Her approach is integrative, creative, and tailored to each person. She draws on DBT, Narrative Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered practice. She brings a genuine love of expressive, experiential, and other creative methods into her work. She doesn't believe everyone heals the same way, and she's always more interested in finding the approach that fits the person in front of her. To Caylin, the most important thing is meeting her clients where they are, with no expectations.
In session, Caylin explores the factors that shape how people move through the world. This includes core beliefs and values, family roles and dynamics, attachment patterns, communication styles, and cognitive distortions. She's especially drawn to the stories people carry about themselves and to helping clients rewrite or let go of the ones that aren't serving them anymore. The goal is to build practical tools, release what's been stuck, and reconnect with yourself, with others, and with the life you want.
