Madeline Hulbert, MSW, LSW | Therapist (Denver, CO)
Madeline is a kind and genuine therapist who believes in the power of play, connection, and collaboration to help children and families navigate life’s challenges. Her approach is rooted in the belief that all children have the capacity for healing and growth when met with empathy, consistency, and respect for their individuality. Madeline works to create a safe and nurturing space where kids feel seen, heard, and empowered to express themselves authentically.
Madeline brings a breadth of experience supporting youth and families across a variety of settings, including schools, residential treatment centers, therapy clinics, and community-based programs. She has worked with children navigating trauma, neurodivergence, emotional dysregulation, and behavioral challenges. Whether teaching emotion regulation skills, helping a child feel safe in their body, or supporting parents in strengthening connection at home, Madeline shows up with patience, curiosity, and care.
Madeline draws from trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate practices that incorporate elements of play therapy, mindfulness, CBT, attachment theory, and systems theory. Her work is deeply collaborative; she partners closely with parents and caregivers to support the wellbeing of the whole family system.
Madeline holds a Master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health and Trauma from the University of Denver, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder. She is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Colorado.
