Jamie Lee Ward, LMSW, RBT | Therapist (Atlanta, GA)

Jamie brings a grounded, strengths-based approach to her work with children, honoring each child’s pace, personality, and preferences. She has a gift for connecting with sensitive and neurodiverse children, creating space for them to feel safe, understood, and empowered to express themselves authentically. With a deep understanding for the therapeutic power of play, Jamie centers connection and co-regulation in every session, supporting emotional growth through curiosity, creativity, and care.

Jamie holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia, where she also earned a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership. Her clinical experience spans over nine years in children’s services, including three years of direct therapeutic support for neurodiverse children ages 3 to 16. While she draws from a strong foundation in behavioral therapy, her current practice is rooted in play-based, somatic, and relational models. Her additional training includes somatic therapy, social-emotional learning, and de-escalation strategies.

Jamie is passionate about working alongside families and care teams to create consistent, compassionate support for each child. She believes in the importance of meeting children where they are and building from their natural strengths, interests, and connections.
